Box Simetrís Rope
The Habitat Amazonia box represents the Amazon rainforest with all its magnificent diversity. I wanted to use as many different textures and materials as possible and to my delight we managed to put together 7 materials. Our Amazonia box is made in 3D impression with a leather covering. The lid is assembled with moss, silk embroidery, mirror, wood, and velvet to showcase the magical beauty of the Brazilian rainforest diversity. The handcrafted Simetrís Rope box enhances the wonderful work of woodcarving. The use of wood, which is a solid material, to create a piece inspired by the movement of strings and ropes, only confirm the beauty and richness of this ancient technique. Sy&Vie is engaged in using ancestral techniques in contemporary setups. The Folhata Leaves vase was designed from the desire to join two very important handcrafted techniques for Sy&Vie. The form enhances the importance of woodcarving and the decorative details come from the beauty and delicacy of marquetry. This piece is the perfect combination to bring exclusivity to home décor.
