FLAGS
This is a work in progress, all work shall be ready on the 15th of july. Using the structure of recuperated barn windows, Juliette mounts them on metal poles to create a Flag structure, held down by recuperated car brake discs, she then intervenes on the wood in a series of ways, ceramic pics woven into the wood, sculpted wood on the second, wax and dirt collected from various trips creating paintings on the last. The Artist generates Flags that sit across one another, three pivots on a metal arm, they can be turned to interact with the space or viewers like saloon doors, the flags interact with the viewer and one another. Two potential additional pieces consist of a window covered in ceramic pics mounted on a wall and garden doors sat on big rough ceramic bases.
