The Coleção Amazônica (Amazon Collection) presents a fluid and organic approach, using natural Elephant Ear leaves as light diffusers. These leaves, handcrafted and treated to become vegetal leather, preserve their unique veins and textures, and are reinforced with a mesh structure to maintain their shape without losing transparency or delicacy. Each piece in the collection carries the authenticity of nature, with the leaf acting as the central element in the diffusion of light. Some versions incorporate cast bronze elements, creating a composition of "stems" that support the light source, evoking the aesthetic of plants emerging from water. The bronze finish has an irregular texture, reminiscent of a surface just drawn from an aquatic environment. Additionally, some fixtures present only the bronze structure, with the light embedded directly in the stems, while other models highlight exclusively the leaves, as seen in the wall sconces. The collection features two color options, reinforcing the connection with the natural palette of the forest. Launched at SP-Arte 2025 as part of the Refraction exhibition, the Coleção Amazônica (Amazon Collection) translates the encounter between nature and light into pieces with a strong sensory appeal. Developed by Cris Bertolucci Estúdio, its debut was part of a trio of collections presented at the Bienal Pavilion, reinforcing the designer’s sculptural and innovative vision of lighting as a visual and emotional experience.
