The Rozimas collection is a limited series of cultural artifacts that go beyond their original function. The project, developed by designer Tiago Braga in partnership with artisans from Ladrilã Association, encourages collective collaboration and also rescues and updates the sustainable management and knowlodges of sheep's wool for rural artisans in the extreme south of Brazil. The Rhizomes, represented by twisted and felted wool threads, are not just a visual element, they are an expression of respect for the Brazilian Pampa Biome and the importance of its preservation. Rhizomes are tangles of lines in constant interaction (flows), with no defined beginning or end, they are roots that are sometimes stratified on a solid base, other times they remain fluid as power. Essential for the health of the entire herd, sheep shearing provides quality of life and comfort to the animal. Extracted respectfully to create the roots that form the collection's artifacts, sheep's wool is a natural, renewable and biodegradable resource. This raw material values ​​social and environmental sustainability, in addition to promoting the circular economy in the region.
